This turned into pretty much just paper mache. Oh well, this is mostly for the WIP pictures with a little commentary so it's not all in the comment here.

Tomorrow I'll just be adding more layers to the papier mache, so I'm not gonna bother putting together another one of these for another few days, at least until I'm doing something new.

This seems to me like the easiest way to create an awesome-looking portal gun. Why I haven't thought about using paper mache before? :shocked:
Thank you for sharing! :) Do you think that aluminium foil will be fine, instead of mesh?
